Happy New Year!
My first adventure of the year starts in Boston!

My boyfriend and I were supposed to go on Friday but then we last minute decided to change it and left Wednesday night to avoid the dangerous weather conditions from the cyclone snow storm.

Thursday we stayed inside all day because of the storm as it was pretty much impossible to move.

I’m going to give you the rundown of what we did in Boston and the costs to go along with it.

Getting to Boston:
NY to Boston –> We took the Megabus roundtrip (Wednesday night to Sunday evening).
Roundtrip tickets cost us roughly $51 each.
It was about 4 hours each way (more with traffic).

Accommodation:
We stayed at an Airbnb hosted by Boris & Susan (the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in – highly recommend it).
We stayed in a home with 4 rooms and 2 full and 1 half bathroom. The room we stayed in was called “Ivory”.
It was delightful and their home was decorated beautifully! The hosts were very caring and helpful.
Accommodation cost us roughly $96 each for 4 nights (Wednesday night to Saturday night).

We wanted to do much more during our stay in Boston but because it was so cold we tried to do as many indoor activities as we could.
We both loved Boston and would love to come back again and explore it properly outside 🙂
The metro system was easy to use and we would try to use it as much as we could.
An average roundtrip ticket is $6.

Boston Public Library

We also walked down Boylston street which had a lot of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market

Top of the Hub

Toured around Harvard University

A friend of mine who lives in Cambridge and graduated from Havard was so kind enough to meet us and give us a tour of the campus.
We met him for breakfast at a place called Tatte Bakery & Cafe.
It was delightful and delicious.
