Barrio Cafe
Address: 2814 N. 16 Street | Phoenix, AZ
Cost: Roughly 35 per person
Guys…no joke. I’m half Mexican and I grew up eating my mother’s homemade tortillas and enchiladas no matter where in the world we were.
This was one of the BEST meals I’ve had in a long time. The last time I remember eating a meal this flavorful was when I was visiting my Abuela in El Paso and we went to friend’s place in the middle of nowhere. You could taste how fresh and homemade everything was in Barrio Cafe. The restaurant is surrounded by incredible local Mexican artwork.
